The cookies will be coming in on Saturday, February 17th. We could use help picking them up, if you had a large order you may want to come out and grab your order so they don’t need to be moved twice.

We’ll be making tote bags from cereal boxes for our February 5th meeting so save yourself one or two. We’ll bring a few extra if you don’t eat cereal out of a box. Please note that last week we had a guest speaker so this week we’ll be doing a craft.
We started our meeting with the pledge, role call and collecting dues.
Our guest speaker at last night’s meeting was, Dr. Ingrid Trevino. We were shown a slide show on what Veterinarians do and interesting jobs in Public Health. She put lotion on her hand and shook one of our hands and we then shook the hand of the girl next to us. When she looked at our hands under a black light everyone had (simulated) germs.
She described the best way to wash our hands and she checked with the black light when we were done.
